About Us

the story - legacy psychology

We. Are. Enough.

At the heart of Legacy Psychology, is a deep appreciation and respect that as human beings, we have everything we need inside us. We see our privilege as the opportunity to assist in the process of navigating and unlocking this potential. Importantly, to empower individuals, teams, and organisations to sustainably identify, measure, monitor and evaluate their wellbeing, through a baseline capability plan. Once established, this mindset and routine, enables a strong foundation to self-sustain.

The philosophy of Legacy Psychology is an integration itself. Identified through the founder’s experience in both clinical and organisational psychology, it leans on evidence-based therapies and assessments, to build roadmaps to position organisations and/or individuals positively for the future. We consider the transformational impact of individual level behaviours, on group/team level dynamics and in turn the larger system, including the organisation and society

how we define legacy

On an individual level, our legacy is our spiritual and cultural DNA. Identifying, honouring and integrating our legacy, provides us with clarity of vision for the future. It assists us to intentionally review our past behaviours, why we engaged in them and then if we so wish (usually to ensure we can reach our future goals), identify effective strategies to move forward (our roadmap).

We believe legacy in fact plays one of the most vital roles in life, as the medium by which we transmit vital information, values, traditions, and wisdom to the next generation and on another level, to our future selves. It is not something we learn from a textbook, rather a deeper level of connectedness from which both our lineage and environment shape. Psychological health is therefore enhanced when one is able to connect with this inner understanding. The mirror inward is the one that so often reflects outward. Therefore, the mirror in is the first step to assist the outward mirror to reflect a more desirable future.

accreditations & affiliations

Our bespoke process involves a strong appreciation of the important roles that motivation and volition play in building a targeted capability plan. There is strong evidence to suggest that many of us set strong plans (motivation), however, often cannot reach our intended outcomes, due to a lack of volition (appropriate level of insight into capabilities and therefore a lack of targeted strategies to eliminate these obstacles). At Legacy Psychology, we aim to work with you to both have motivation and volition to create the best version of yourself.
